This week we were pleased to welcome Philip Fothergill of TVUK (http://www.tvuk-ltd.com) and TV presenter Simon Biagi (http://www.simonbiagi.com) to film in our Greenscreen studio. It was a pleasure to accommodate such true professionals!

Philip Fothergill has over 20 years experience in television and radio with the BBC and commercial companies, including as a presenter/producer for Anglia TV and QVC. In recent times he was the Promotions and Video Production Manager at premier shopping channel QVC before becoming a full time member of TVUK as a television production manager, working both behind and in front of the camera. His most recent productions include a short documentary about the National Museum of Computing, a special feature on the Queens College Football Academy and covering a celebrity event featuring a multi-camera shoot with the famous Syd Lawrence Orchestra.

Simon Biagi is an actor and a popular TV presenter: Channels such as BBC, ITV, GMTV, Sky, QVC and Channel 5 have utilised Simon’s special talents in an enormous variety of shows from DIY makeovers to religious current affairs.  Simon is equally comfortable interviewing celebrities like Julia Roberts, Tina Turner or Billy Crystal, grilling politicians or chatting to members of the public. Simon has presented or appeared in Surprise Surprise!, the TV series documentary Heaven and Earth with Gloria Hunniford, Garden Invaders, Real Rooms, Countdown and The Weakest Link. Simon and his wife also recently launched their very own online business More Than Vitamins (http://www.morethanvitamins.co.uk/).

We have been finishing off a set of videos for our forthcoming YouTube video channel on Health with Adam Shaw, heart health consultant and  ’Walk Innovator’ who has been in the studio taking about some of his more alternative views on health, wealth and happiness. A healthy heart specialist, Adam believes that there are certain indicators that can lead to angina and that increased negative emotions are an early warning sign. These are often caused by feeling stuck in a job or relationship that isn’t working. Adams Wellbeing Innovation program addresses these issues and he runs a variety of workshops in this and other subjects including team building, stress management and wellbeing.

We were thrilled to have Film Director / Producer John K Webster in our Green Screen studio last week filming his latest showreel for a popular actress and presenter. Producing top quality showreels is just one of John’s many talents as he is a writer and director of nine short films which have been showcased on television, in cinemas and at festivals around the world. He has worked on many television programmes including Leave the Tags on (Living), The Joy of Teen Sex (Channel 4) and Show Business (SKY 1). He has also worked with Joss Stone, Lethal Bizzel and Sarah Beeny amongst others. Check out his 21CTV profile for more info.
